End Cover
As the name suggests the end cap cover or the end cover, can be found on the sealed end of the hydraulic cylinder. Technically speaking, the end cap covers the pressure chamber of the cylinder at one end which is in general referred to as the cylinder head; it is also called as the blind end owing to its location inside the cylinder.
These caps are connected to the main cylinder with the help of bolts, rods, or by simple conventional type of threading. The cylinders can also be sealed by either a seal gland, or an integrated rod sealing arrangement.
